A website about platypi wouldn't be complete without a small bit of animal protection activism. Just a small bit. Now as part of building this website, we spent some time looking for a solid charity to support, and we concluded that Bush Heritage, Australia was a real winner.

Bush Heritage Australia is an independent not-for-profit that buys and manages land, and also partners with Aboriginal people, to conserve our magnificent landscapes and irreplaceable native species forever.

Pretty awesome, eh?
